Linotype
Germany
Linotype. The name stands for itself, as there's not much more to say about a company that has been around for more than 125 years and has made an impact like no other on the world of typography: from inventing groundbreaking type-setting machines to one of the most impressive font catalogs including typefaces such as Helvetica, Univers, and Frutiger. The company's digital font division became Linotype GmbH, which was acquired by Monotype in 2006.
